Role Specification –
Business Development Specialist/Senior Partner, The Quantum Organisation

1. Full/part time - Being a Quantum Business Development Specialist and Senior Partner offers a highly flexible way of working, however, our most successful consultants work full-time on their Quantum business

2. Type of Company - The Quantum Organisation helps small to medium size enterprises maximise their growth potential and increase their value by transforming the way they do business.

3. Title – Business Development Specialist/Senior Partner

4. Requirements – Although we welcome applications from anyone who believes they have the ability, a typical Senior Partner is someone who has been an active owner/director of an SME employing at least 5 people or held a senior corporate position. The most important quality in a Senior Partner is credibility - you must have a credible and solid background in developing a business if you wish to pursue a career with Quantum.

5. Package – A Quantum Senior Partner will generate their income from a mixture of retainer fees and results based fees (a percentage of the growth in profit they bring to a client).

6. Career Prospects – The opportunity exists for Quantum Senior Partners to build their own team of specialists.  Occasionally there are also regional director positions and new territory development opportunities. Due to the nature of the business, there may be scope to negotiate equity options in client companies.

7. Geographical Area – There are no defined territories for Senior Partners. This means that a Quantum Senior Partner may work anywhere in the World without restriction. Usually a Senior Partner will work with companies within easy commutable distance and seeing as they only need around 5 clients to make a comfortable living these can often be found locally.

8. Training Given – Initial training takes the form of a 6-day highly intensive residential course. During the course candidates work up to 12 hours a day learning and practicing new techniques. Following the course new Senior Partners will be coached as they find and work with new clients. An extranet, regular web/teleconferences and ad hoc training days ensure Partners are kept up to date with new developments and material.
